This past week seemed to drag on and on. Our original flight plans were canceled and we had to wait eight more days before they could find two seats for us. Three conferences had to be canceled. Due to our busy itinerary we were not able to reschedule them.
But God showed up through friends and family who encouraged us, prayed with us and ministered to us. One particular sister in Christ texted me a verse (Isaiah 52:12) which reminded me that God goes before, stands beside, and has our back. A week delay means nothing to Him. He has our best interests in mind and works all things out for our good. We have completed the first leg of this journey. Soon we will be boarding and flying on to our final destination.
“But you will not go out in a hurry, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard .” Isaiah 52:12 NASB
