Many tribal widows are young. They are left to raise children without any means of support. Many of these ladies are illiterate and unable to work outside the home. 

Joyful Weave is a training program that teaches widows how to make totes and purses. She is trained and then is able to work from home. Each is given a wage for the items she completes. Completed purses are then shipped to the USA where they are sold at churches, women’s events and boutiques. 100% of the proceeds is passed back to the Widow Projects.
