After 4 days to acclimate to time change, climate and cuisine, we conducted the first general conference. Sal presented a new topic on the 7 Churches of Revelation. About 35 of the delegates were pastors. The study was particularly helpful to them as Sal explained the successes and failures that existed within these churches. You could see the intense focus in the room.
He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Revelation 2:7; 11; 17; 29; 3:6; 13; 22.

Pastors attend 7 Churches Conference
The next day Sal and Viju met with a professional filmmaker to start production on the conference topics. This is a very challenging project. With God’s blessing, we hope to make these teachings available year round and accessible to a broader audience. We are also seeking God to raise up capable teachers who can pick up the torch and continue to provide sound biblical teaching in the future.
On Thursday, Elena did what she waits all year to do….shared the Word of God at the first of 6 women’s conferences. The hall was packed with bright smiles and colorful saris. The worship was powerful and the teaching was received with tears of joy and gratitude to God for all He has done. The Gospel was shared and 11 new souls received the gift of eternal life. As Charlie Kirk would say, “Let’s make Heaven crowded.”

Women’s Conference
In late afternoon, we visited a very remote and poor village. A number of widows live there with young children. Viju and Ammu make weekly visits to tell Bible stories to the children. As we headed home, we were surprised by 14 of our widows who were waiting on the side of the road for us in the dark of night. Reunited with these precious women was the perfect way to end the day.

Village kids attend weekly Bible and Prayer time
Now we rest for a few days before the next round of conferences. I love the down time. Our pace is slower and we are able to enjoy village life with the sights and sounds of God’s creation here in the jungle.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go both now and forever. Psalm 121:8
