This week started with a woman’s conference. And it was an amazing and awesome experience. Since conferences are conducted in different cities, we never really know what kind of an audience we will be speaking to. I have learned the best thing to do is pray before I speak that God would put his words in my mouth. . . . Words that will specifically minister to the needs of that group. It was a joy to look out at the smiling faces of these ladies who were shaking their heads in agreement with the points that were being presented. And then the last 10 minutes were spent on their feet praising God at the top of their lungs. It was a joyful noise.

Women’s Conference

Wednesday, Sal presented the 7 Churches Conference to a group made up mostly of pastors from the district. There were a number of first time attendees present and invitations are coming in to bring the conferences to their churches. We see how the filming of the conferences will be useful to expand our reach. Throughout the year, Viju can schedule to present these topics through the videos. We are also working on using voiceover technology to present the films in different languages. I love that our videographer is not a believer. He spends about 3-4 hours with Sal and Viju for each conference topic taping. Then he has to edit the filming which can take an entire day of listening to the teachings over and over. The first session this man was guarded and unfriendly. The second session he was warmer and friendlier. By the third session (The Rapture), he asked Viju regarding Sal, ”Who is this guy?” We are now praying that God will give an open door to share the gospel with him face to face.

Pastors attending 7 Churches Conference

In the evening we made the weekly visit to a small and very poor village. I want to dedicate an entire blog to our experience there so I will not comment now.

It is hard to believe that half our time here is behind us. It’s been busy and the remaining weeks are equally as busy. Last night we marveled as the Blood Moon rose over the mountains. It was a glorious site and a glowing reminder that the Lord is coming soon. All of us must keep on working and sharing the good news as long as we have time.

Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.      Phil. 1:6
