Sunday morning church was a blessed time as we worshipped with many old friends and met new ones. The praise music was powerful and Sal’s message on Romans 12:1-2 spoke mightily as more then half the church came forward to rededicate their lives as a living sacrifice.
Monday and Tuesday were busy shopping days as we prepared for the US Team to arrive. We met with Morgan, our chef, who will be preparing all the meals for the team while they are here. He supplied us with a four page list of provisions he needed in order to cook for the team. Shopping in India for supplies is no small job. Often it involves several stores and even villages to find what you’re looking for. It took us the greater part of Monday to collect all the food items needed. Can somebody say Costco?
Sadly, Tomas and Barb had to cancel coming on the trip, but Cat, Kevin, and Amber arrived safely after a very long journey. This is the first official CAM Mission Team and we could not be more excited. The next two weeks are filled with kids programs, widow outreaches and a pastors’ conference.
This came about from the LORD; it is marvelous in our eyes. Psalm 118:23
