Lighthhouse Tutoring
Drug addiction and alcoholism is a serious problem in tribal areas, especially among men. Some children stop attending school at early ages and do not have a proper education or skill set. The Lighthouse Tutoring Program was established to encourage young children to stay in school and value the importance of education.
CAM provides after school tutoring 6 days a week for children of widows in grades 6-8. A qualified teacher is on staff to help children develop strong study habits and prepare for tests. We believe these children can have a better and brighter future through the tutoring program. The program is limited to 35 children per year.
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. —Jer 29:11
